Bad Wolfe Co is Closed

I'm sorry to announce that Bad Wolfe Co is now closed indefinitely. All orders that came in before 12/31/22 are being processed (by which I mean, I'm making your strings and stuff by hand) so please be patient as I try to get them out as quickly as possible. I had a LOT of people stocking up before the site shut down, so I'll be running a bit behind and some orders might take until the end of January, depending on when your order was placed. If you're new here, I'm sorry I missed you. And if you're someone who wants to try making your own strings and you like what I make, try Maxi-Lock Stretch and you might end up pretty close. Thank you all for the support over the past few years!

ABOUT US

Boutique yoyo strings and handcrafted paracord items from Chattanooga, TN.

Bad Wolfe Co opened in 2018. Back then, I made paracord dog toys, using designs I created for my own dog Mipha. Eventually, I expanded into making leashes and collars, as well as bracelets and begleri.

In 2019, I was contacted to make yoyo holsters for a shop that made yoyo strings. The owner gave me a yoyo, and that's how I got into the yoyo community. Since then that shop has closed, and the owner helped me learn how to make strings. I began working with Circle City Yoyos to supply the strings for their releases, and I added yoyo strings to my shop.

Over time, my shop evolved past leashes and dog toys to mainly focus on yoyo strings. Since removing most of the paracord items from my shop, I was able to focus on refining my string formulas to create the best yoyo string possible, as well as bracelets and yoyo holsters. Every item has been hand-made with care.

Unfortunately, sometimes life has other plans, and in 2022 I realized two things: 1. Making yoyo string is not something that will ever become a full-time career for me, and 2. Making yoyo string takes so much of my time and energy that I'll never be able to build a full-time career in any other field as long as I continue at the current rate. So I made the hard decision to close my shop 12/31/22 to focus on other things.

I've had a lot of people ask if I'm going to reopen at any point. Honestly, right now the plan is no. I don't want to say never, because I don't know where life will take me and who knows, maybe in a few years I'll decide this was a dumb decision and I should make strings again. But if I were you I wouldn't count on it. I don't expect to reopen, and I don't want anyone holding out a false hope.

Thanks for all your support over the past few years, and I wish you all the best!
